Let's face it, last year was tough. How will you energize your business and yourself and get your mojo back?
It's a familiar truth -- to get different results, change your approach. But change is not easy for human beings, is it?
We are wired to stay in our comfort zone and somewhere deep in the ancient part of our brains the message "don't take that risk!" is stuck solid. But you can trick what I affectionately call that "lizard brain" with a sneaky approach.
Will you accept the challenge?
Do Something New!
If you usually start the day with a cup of coffee and the newspaper, head out for a walk or the gym first thing instead. Or if that's your current routine, take 10 minutes before you go to meditate on what you want the day to be like.
Start blogging, or commit to contacting one client or prospect every day to learn more about them (not tell them about you). Learn a new language, go Cajun dancing, have a "Glee" music night or make up another silly reason to get friends together every month. Whatever it is, doing something new can shake things up and get you moving in a new direction, and who knows where you'll end up?
Leave your comment -- what new, challenge will you commit to?
You'll inspire others,
and create a community of supporters to hold you to it!
